Clemson Formula SAE is a student organization open to all majors and classes.  Joining the team is as simple as coming out to the shop for work days and team meetings. 

New team members interested in Engineering typically start off working in the shop gaining experience working on test cars and producing new parts for the cars.  Students hone their skills in precision machining, fabrication and welding then generally move into one of several design areas or continue in more advanced manufacturing processes.

New team members interested in Business typically start off working on press releases, helping to organize promotional events and recruiting efforts.  As business team members gain more experience they typically start interacting direclty with current and potential sponsors to help secure resources for the team as well as co-ordinating partnerships with other organizations throughout campus.
